Day 1 - Negombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka. On this day of your 3 days Sri Lanka tour, you shall start exploring its marvels. Upon your arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, an agent will greet you and direct you to a luxury driver`s vehicle that will take you around the country.

Have a good night`s sleep at your hotel. If you have more time of the day, you can relax on the Negombo beach, which is a popular destination for tourists with its pristine beaches.

Day 2 - Kandy / Nuwara Eliya

Today You will arrive in Kandy. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a world-renowned place of worship, where the left Canine tooth of Gautama Buddha is enshrined. The temple which is venerated by thousands of local & foreign devotees and tourists daily was named as a world heritage by UNESCO in 1988. The temple which carries a lot of value to Buddhists all over the world also has immense cultural value. The architecture is of unique Kandyan architectural style with a combination of the unique style used to build “Dalada Mandira” the shrines which housed the Sacred Tooth Relic previously in other kingdoms.

The temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is built in the city of Kandy near the ancient Royal Palace which is situated to the North of the temple and the forest reserve called “Udawaththa Kelaya” to the East. The famous Kandy Lake also known as “Kiri Muhuda” to the South and “Natha & Paththini Devala” on the West. The temple is adorned with intricate carvings using gold, silver, bronze and ivory.

Later continuing journey to Botanical garden at Peradeniya Situated in Kandy’s suburb of Peradeniya, the spectacular Peradeniya Botanical Garden The gardens display over 4000 different species of plants, regarded amongst the most superior in Asia.The highlight is the spectacular Orchid collection and a mighty avenue of palm trees. In addition to a plethora of flowering plants, there is also an extensive collection of medicinal plants and spices which can be spotted on your meander across the gardens. Encompassing over 60 hectares of sublimely designed lawns, pavilions and plant houses, the extraordinary array of Sri Lankan, Asian and international flora is a fragrant, colorful view on the eye. Gorgeous avenues lead on to sections exploding in bursts of tropical color and vast lawns dotted with enormous trees.

Day 3 - Nuwara Eliya

The next morning you have to go Nuwaraeliya. En-route, you will stop at theRamboda falls The area is known for marvelous landscapes comprising of highlands, ridges, plains, streams and hilly mountains. The best of the attractions being the Ramboda falls.Ramboda also has beautiful sights and rare birds cooing on the thick forests.The gushing waters and their sounds as they crackle hitting the rocks is experience awe parallel.

Next you will visit the Tea Plantation Tea Factory One of the most famous is Blue Field Tea Estate Nuwara Eliya. They control a large estate around the factory and produce high quality tea that is being exported all over the world.You will also visit a tea tasting chamber with different types of teas.

Aftre lunch you will visit Haggala Botanical Garden .It is the second largest garden among the five botanical gardens in Sri Lanka and is contiguous to Hakgala Strict Nature Reserve, which is the home to a variety of wild life, including bears, monkeys and birds. The comfortable cool weather that prevails throughout the year compliments the exotic flora and fauna, creating a true paradise. It boasts thousands of flora species. .

Later continuing journey to Nuwara Eliya is often referred to by the Sri Lankan tourist industry as Little England.Travelling through winding roads and lush green valleys, tea estates situated on the slopes and banks of the hills, with tiny streams and water falls and the beautiful misty mountains , one can arrive at Nuwara Eliya town which offers you everything, as any other town does Nuwara Eliya, which is situated among some of the most beautiful tea estates also has the Golf course, race Course, horses, Rose gardens and British style houses which all add up to a perfect vacation retreat, offering a level of perfection without equal.

Gregory Lake was build under the period of British Governor Sir William Gregory in 1873. This is the most prominent attraction in Nuwara Eliya and all the vistors used to come here and spent some time by the lake and relax.
